Street art photography!

Painted Sclater street this saturday, haven't been there for a long time, and a usual it was a really great day out!
Decided to re-do my first ever piece, a bunch of tourists photographing graffiti... It turned out pretty crazy, and very different from the first execution! Here are some pics:

(here's the graffiti tour photographing the 'graffiti tour' :)

Roskilde festival 2011

After many years absence, I finally went back to enjoy the legendary Danish music festival "Roskilde", but this time as part of the graffiti camp.
A load of artists from all around the world whom are in charge of decorating the mile long fence around the festival area...
We had lovely weather, a container full of Molotow cans, a bunch of really fantastic people and almost 5 days of painting....

My first wall was mega:

The second one, medium:

And finished off with a mini sign for the wonderful Christiania Falaffel....

The sign was literally finished the moment hundreds of thousands of crazed people flooded into the festival area, and from then on we put down the spray cans, picked up the beer cans and started partying!

Amongst the other festival guests were my bestest buddy who wrote a little blog piece about me, you can read it here:

You can also see more pictures of all the work on Molotow's site:

And here is the festivals website:

Finally a very big thank you to LARS who made it all happen:)

Upfest 2011

Recently a friend dragged me to Bristol for something called Upfest. I didn't really know what to expect, but found 200 other people who were as nerdy about painting as me and it was fantastic!

Here's a pic from the wall I did with Suzko & Stedhead on Saturday:

And Sunday I was asked to paint a Gorilla...

It's going to be put up somewhere in Bristol, before being auctioned off to raise money for Bristol Zoo.

Girls on top Spring Jam, Stedhead & Motor

Recently a whole load of ladies got together to paint in the Stockwell pit, I painted next to Megan/Stedhead. The theme was space, it was a really lovely sunny day...
I painted some ladies floating round in space:

Megan did a slug alien with some beautiful stencil details!
And just as we were taking the pictures, the sun came out and all the gold lit up and it all ended up looking very spacey!

...and walk away.

movie trailer

Here's a trailer for a film about street art around east london with a bit of me in it. I ran into the guy last summer when he was out shooting - very kindly he did not use the shot of me breaking a sliver marker pen and spilling the content all over my self!

Video

Way back Tom came down to Leake street and made a little video... You can see it here:

Last weekend

Last weekend we had visitors from Copenhagen and Ireland. Their crew had their 20th anniversary! I went along to the 3 day paint marathon....
We started on Saturday in Stockwell:

Sunday we went to Leake side - some place way out east along the Thames! Tom came along and took some pictures of the area, see them here: LINK

I managed to give most people a bit of a headache with this piece:

Finally monday, in Leake street, we were all knackered so took it easy and enjoyed the sun.

Puh it was a hard, but great weekend, thanks everyone! You can see all the pictures on SoloOne's blog and some far more detailed commentary... LINK

Sotor & Molone

SoloOne and I were down in Stockwell this sunday and decided to try out an idea we've talked about for a while....The idea was for each of us to do a piece, then swap and paint the other persons piece. We called it;

SoloOne's piece before:
Motor's piece before:

And after the swap...

My characters got some skin deceases amongst other things....

And the final wall:

We're definitively trying that again!
